A family oriented horse club, GRC has been in existence for more than 60 years. We welcome single people as well as families (with or without children.) The Club is made up of playday and rodeo competitors, non-competitors, ranchers, and horsemen. GRC is intended to bring individuals together to make new friends with a common interest in Texas horsemanship.
Gatesville Riding Club has hosted the annual Gatesville Rodeo, for 80 years. This event is held the last weekend of every July and attracts competitors from all over the western US. We also provide Playdays, Jackpot Barrels, Barrel Clinics, roping events, Trail Rides, and Parade participation whenever possible.
